Laboratório caseiro pára-raios: um experimento simples e de baixo custo para a eletrostática

With the objective of contributing to make significant the scientificlearning, this work suggests a simple and low-cost experiment todemonstrate electrostatics knowledge studied in High School. Theexperimental proposal has yet the concern of focusing the content,linking it to daily technological elements. Doing that, and due tothe practical interest it can arouse in student, we presented theoperation of an idealized Lightning Rod to apply in electrostaticsschool knowledge and to show that the same one can have animportant day by day usefulness and it cannot be a turned offabstraction or distant from the reality.
